We're a nationally leading family business for complete systems for fuelling and handling liquids hazardous to water: consulting, planning, station construction, maintenance, tank inspection – all from one source.
Our biggest success factor is our people. That's why we invest in training, development and genuine recognition.
TIMELINE
From tank inspections to full-service provider.
Since 1960, one direction: forward.- 011960Hans Müller founds “Hans Müller Tankrevisionen”: tank refurbishment, tank cleaning, installation of inner liners.
- 021997On 4 November, Hanspeter Müller founds Petro-Handels GmbH. From 1997, the first plastic-piped filling stations in Switzerland follow – including certification and approval of the first PE piping system.
- 031998Vapour recovery testing, forecourt maintenance and leak detector service are added.
- 042007Takeover of Sutter Service AG (automation and garage equipment).
- 052010From now on: building AdBlue systems and vapour recovery retrofits.
- 062015New logo, new vehicle livery – you should see us coming.
- 072022In February, Pascal and Daniel Müller join the management team.
- 082023Opening of the Bern branch – for shorter response times.
- 092024In March, Pascal and Daniel Müller take over Hanspeter Müller's shares as he retires.
- 102026Authorised partner for Gilbarco fuel dispensers – and with PetroControl VAP, our own vapour recovery tester hits the market.
In 2027 we celebrate 30 years of Petro-Handels. The candles are ordered – and the champagne tank is double-walled, of course.
